Ivorian international Seko Fofana is set to miss Stade Rennais’ French Ligue 1 encounter against RC Lens this weekend.
Stade Rennais are heading into the match after suffering a 4-1 defeat to PSG last weekend.
The team is hoping to secure victory over RC Lens in the next game to bounce back from that defeat.
Unfortunately, experienced midfielder Seko Fofana will miss the important game as a result of an injury.
Fofana’s absence will mean that he will miss out on a chance to play against his former club. The Ivorian was on the books of RC Lens between 2020 and 2023 and knows the club very well.
In his absence, midfielder Djaoui Cissé, who has enjoyed a breakthrough this season, will be expected to fill in the void.
The match between Stade Rennais and RC Lens is scheduled for Saturday, March 15. Kick-off is at 8:05 pm.
