Ivorian international, Wilfried Singo, is upbeat ahead of AS Monaco’s big game against Olympique Marseille in the French Ligue next weekend.
Speaking at Monaco’s Kids’ Tour event in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, the defender expressed optimism about his team’s chances of securing victory against the opponent.
He noted that after losing to Stade Brestois last weekend, AS Monaco are keen on bouncing back to winning ways.
“We hope to bounce back after the defeat last weekend. This weekend, we will try to bounce back from it and work hard. We’ll have a big opponent in front of us. There are six matches left, six finals. We’ll take it match by match,” Wilfried Singo said.
The mouth-watering fixture between AS Monaco and Olympique Marseille is scheduled to be played on Saturday, April 12.
Singo is in line to start the big game and will be expected to play a key role.
With just two points separating the two teams, a win for AS Monaco will take the team above Marseille.
