Ittifaq Marrakech edges Association Salé towards relegation to amateur league
Ittifaq Marrakech deepened the garage of the Association Salé in the match held today, Sunday, in the 25th round of the second professional championship, and won 1-0.
The Salé team is now close to relegation to the amateur league, as its situation in the standings has worsened, remaining in last place with 18 points, while the Marrakech team boosted its chances of survival by raising its tally to 25 points in 14th place.
Also on the same day, two matches were played that were crucial for the bottom of the table, as Racing drew at home against Chabab Al Massira 0-0, dropping to second-to-last place with 24 points, while Chabab Al Massira occupies tenth place with 31 points.
In the third match, Sreej Wadi Zam drew against Raja Beni Mellal 2-2, and Sreej is yet to secure its stay, occupying 12th place with 26 points, while the Beni Mellal team is in sixth place with 37 points.
