Right to Dreams Academy has celebrated Patrick Dorgu’s move to Premier League outfit, Manchester United.
The Red Devils, who has been inconsistent in the ongoing campaign has strengthen their squad with the acquisition of Dorgu from Lecce.
The 20-year-old completed his switch from Lecce to the Premier League on Sunday, signing a five-year deal with an option to extend. His move to Manchester United worth €30m deal plus €5m add-ons.
Dorgu began his career with Denmark-based Nordjaelland before departing to join Lecce in Italy.
However, Nordjaelland feeder club Right to Dreams Academy has taken to social media to celebrate Dorgu’s move. It is important to note both Right to Dream and Nordjaelland are owned by Tom Vernon.
“Another grad ready to shine on the world’s biggest stages. Patrick Dorgu to Manchester United. Watching him develop from an Academy baller to a pro has been special. Now, it’s time for the next chapter” wrote Right to Dreams Academy on X, formerly known as Twitter.
The talented player made 21 appearances in the Serie A, scoring three goals and providing one assists across the period.
In all competitions, Dorgu made 23 appearances, racking up three goals and providing an assist.
Meanwhile, the enterprising winger has made four appearances for the Danish national team, scoring one goal since making his debut in September 2024.
