Puma has announced the addition of the charismatic AC Milan and Italian national team striker, Mario Balotelli, to its roster a few months ahead of the 2014 World Cup. Balotelli joins the likes of Falcao, Marco Reus, Sergio Aguero, Cesc Fabregas, and legendary sprinter Usain Bolt as part of Puma’s team.
Expressing his enthusiasm about the collaboration, Balotelli stated, “It’s a great commitment for me. From the first conversations with Puma, it was clear that they understood me, whether it was my personality or my ambitions (…) The fact that Puma is also the equipment supplier of the Italian national team was also a reason to sign this contract.” Balotelli, known for his memorable moments, also referenced his famous “Why always Puma?” t-shirt worn during a historic 6-1 victory at Old Trafford with Manchester City two years ago.
