Former Italian youth national team coach, De Biaggio, has lauded the Moroccan international Adam Masina, who recently joined Torino Football Club during the winter transfer window.
Speaking to Corriere di Torino, the captain of Italy’s youth team highlighted that Masina’s recurrent injuries hindered him from shining more brightly.
De Biaggio emphasized Masina’s significant potential across various facets of the game, asserting that the Moroccan international possesses the qualities necessary to continue excelling with Torino.
Continuing, the spokesperson stated, “Masina appears today as a defender in the guise of an attacker, as he starts from the back and sees more of the pitch’s space, which can be better utilized in construction.
In reality, he has a great ability to play, his passing is very clean and excellent, especially in the short range, and he is very strong in aerial duels.”
It is worth noting that Masina previously played under coach De Biaggio when he was part of the Italian under-21 national team.
Adam Masina, who has joined Torino on loan until the end of the season with a purchase option, comes from Udinese.
Masina’s potential and versatility present an exciting prospect for Torino as they look to bolster their squad for the challenges ahead.
With his skillset and determination, Masina aims to make a significant impact on the pitch and contribute to Torino’s success in the remainder of the season.
