Inter Milan rule out German-Cameroonian defender Yann Aurel Bisseck exit in January
Inter Milan have ruled out any possibility of Yann Aurel Bisseck leaving the club in the upcoming January transfer window, despite growing interest from several European sides.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the Italian champions have made it clear that the German-Cameroonian defender will remain at the San Siro for the rest of the season.
The 24-year-old has made only two appearances so far this campaign, but the club considers him an important part of their long-term plans and is not open to negotiation.
Inter reportedly value Bisseck at around €35–40 million, a figure considered excessive by his potential suitors, including Eintracht Frankfurt and AS Monaco.
Both clubs had been exploring the possibility of a winter move but are now expected to look elsewhere after being informed of Inter’s firm stance.
Signed from Vitória Guimarães in 2023, Bisseck is tied to a long-term contract that runs until June 2029.
His annual salary is reported to be around €1.92 million (₣1.25 billion FCFA), reflecting his growing stature within European football.
Despite limited playing time this season, the Cologne-born centre-back remains highly regarded for his composure on the ball and physical dominance.
Sources close to the player suggest he is not unsettled by his current role and is prepared to continue working under Simone Inzaghi to earn more minutes in the coming months.
The report also indicates that while Bisseck has attracted attention from several European clubs, he is in no rush to move.
Should he consider a transfer in the future, he is said to favour potential interest from elite sides such as Real Madrid, Barcelona, or Bayern Munich rather than mid-tier European teams.
For now, Inter Milan are focused on maintaining squad stability as they compete on multiple fronts, including the UEFA Champions League, where they are set to face Union Saint-Gilloise on matchday three.
The Nerazzurri are confident that retaining depth in defence will be key to sustaining their title ambitions domestically and in Europe.
With veteran defenders providing leadership and Bisseck representing the next generation, the club views his presence as a valuable investment for the future.
Inter’s next match against Union Saint-Gilloise will be closely watched, with betting platforms such as 1xBet listing odds of 1.57 for an Inter win, 3.70 for a draw, and 4.15 for a Union victory.
