Inter eye Moussa Diaby as key summer signing

Inter Milan are preparing a renewed push to sign Moussa Diaby from Al-Ittihad this summer, sensing a fresh opportunity to land the French-Malian winger.

Reports indicate that the Saudi club’s strong interest in Liverpool star Mohamed Salah could open the door for Diaby to leave at the end of the season.

Inter previously failed with an approach in January but now believe their chances have improved, especially as Diaby is understood to be keen on a move to San Siro. The Nerazzurri are planning a significant squad reshuffle ahead of next season, with Marcus Thuram considered one of the main candidates to be sold for a substantial fee to help fund changes.

Head coach Cristian Chivu views Diaby as his priority target to energize Inter’s attack and add more creativity and pace in wide areas. The 26-year-old has produced four goals and 13 assists this season, underlining his value as both a scorer and provider.

If Salah does join Al-Ittihad and Inter manage to secure Diaby, the move could become one of the standout attacking transfers of the upcoming window.
