Nigerian international Jerome Akor Adams is nearing a return to action after spending time on the sidelines due to an injury setback.
The 25-year-old, who joined Sevilla in the winter transfer window has been nursing a thigh muscle injury he sustained at training.
Before this injury, Adams had made debuted for Sevilla as the Rojiblancos played out a 0-0 draw against Getafe at the Estadio Coliseum on February 1, 2025.
Giving an update, Sevilla manager Garcia Pimienta disclosed the Nigerian international could return to action for his sides clash against Athletic Bilbao on March 16, 2025.
“Akor is in the process (of recovering). In his case, he could be brought forward because of the strength of his muscles,” Pimienta stated.
With Akor nearing full fitness, Sevilla will be hoping to maintain momentum as they push forward in La Liga.
Despite his top performance, Adams has yet to debut for the Nigeria national team. Meanwhile, he has two appearances for the U20 team.
