Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti has disclosed that Kylian Mbappe’s injury is not as serious as feared.
This means the Frenchman could make a quick return to action after going off in the first half of Real Madrid’s victory against Atalanta in the Uefa Champions League on Tuesday night.
“Kylian Mbappe’s injury does not seem serious. It’s an overload,” Carlo Ancelotti told the media after the important win against the Italian side.
On his part, Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois also provided positive news after the game.
He said, “Mbappe felt the muscle contracting. It doesn’t seem serious. We might lose him for this weekend [v Rayo Vallecano].”
Before going off against Atalanta, Kylian Mbappe scored a very good goal to increase his Uefa Champions League goals tally to 50.
Real Madrid laboured without the star attacker but managed to secure a crucial 3-2 win at the end of the contest.
