Moroccan defender Achraf Dari is a doubt for Al Ahly’s upcoming match against Haras El Hodoud on Sunday, as part of the fourth round of the Egyptian Premier League.
Dari picked up an injury during Al Ahly’s 3-2 victory over Petrojet on Wednesday night.
According to a private source within the club, an initial assessment suggests the defender has sustained a minor hamstring strain.
However, he is expected to undergo further medical tests in the coming hours to determine the extent of the injury and his availability for the weekend fixture.
“Dari will most likely not be able to participate in the match against Haras El-Hodoud next Sunday.”
Al Ahly currently sit in second place on the league table with 43 points, trailing leaders Pyramids by four points.
