Imran Louza continues to shine in the french championship

Imran Louza

Moroccan international Imran Louza showcased his brilliance once again as he led Lorient to victory against Metz with a scoreline of 2-1 in the 20th round of the French league.

The “Lion of the Atlas” played a pivotal role in Lorient’s crucial win over Metz by providing an assist in the 19th minute.

This precise pass led to Ivorian player Mohamed Bamba scoring the opening goal for Louza’s teammates.

Despite Metz’s Didier Lamkel leveling the score in the 22nd minute, the first half concluded with a positive one-to-one draw.

The pressure from Louza’s teammates continued into the second half, resulting in a goal by Panos Kris in the 58th minute.

Louza delivered an impressive performance throughout the Metz vs. Lorient match, earning the highest rating (8.1) according to the specialized “SofaScore” index for numbers and statistics.

With this victory, Lorient raised their points to 16, securing the seventeenth position just ahead of Metz in sixteenth place, separated only by goal difference.

In the previous match, Louza, who recently joined Lorient from Watford, had already stood out by scoring a goal and providing an assist against Le Havre.

The match ended in a three-all draw in the 19th round of the French league.

Lorient successfully secured Louza on loan from Watford in the current winter transfer period until the end of the ongoing season.

It’s worth noting that Imran Louza, at the age of 24, is under contract with Watford until the summer of 2028.
