Bayern Munich have emerged as the frontrunners to secure the signing of Germany international of Ivory Coast descent Jonathan Tah.
Tah is leaving Bayer Leverkusen at the end of the season as he seeks for a new challenge after several year spell at the club.
The 29-year-old is growing impatient with Barcelona, one of the main contenders, as the club put its transfer plans on hold. However, a move to Barcelona is no longer considered a realistic option for the defender.
Bayern Munich is making positive moves to secure Tah’s signature, with the club’s board giving the green light for the signing of the defender.
The Bundesliga giants are expected to offer Tah a three-year contract that will keep him at the club until 2028.
Tah has scored three goals and provided an assist in 32 appearances in the German Bundesliga this season.
