Iliman Ndiaye's future could be a key summer talking point

Iliman Ndiaye’s situation could be one to watch this summer, according to the Daily Mail.

The Senegal international’s contract with Everton expires in three years, so the Toffees are confident they are in control. However, Ndiaye has rejected offers of new terms and has eyes on playing at a higher level.

Arsenal, Manchester City, and Manchester United are interested in the 26-year-old, but Everton are reluctant to sell, with previous reports quoting €80 million as a potential asking price. Ndiaye joined Everton from Olympique Marseille on 3 July 2024 in a transfer valued at up to €20 million, signing a five-year contract until June 2029 and taking the number 10 shirt.

He made his full debut for the club in the EFL Cup second round against Doncaster Rovers on 27 August 2024, scoring the opening goal in a 3–0 victory with a solo run and finish.

His Premier League debut occurred earlier that month, on 17 August 2024, as a substitute in a 0–0 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion at Goodison Park. Ndiaye netted his first Premier League goal for Everton on 22 September 2024, equalizing in a 1–1 away draw against Bournemouth.

The creative forward’s desire to leave has intensified interest from England’s biggest clubs, all seeking attacking reinforcements for the upcoming campaigns.
