Spain legend Iker Casillas is hoping Brazilian-Cameroonian star Vinicius Jnr stays at Real Madrid despite interest from Saudi Arabia.
The reigning FIFA Player of the Year has been linked with a €350m move to Al-Hilal following the release of compatriot, Neymar Jnr.
The 24-year-old’s current contract with the Spanish giants is expected to expire in the summer of 2027.
“As a Real Madrid fan, I would like Vinicius to stay at Madrid. He has had a fantastic development since he arrived.
“At first he was the subject of laughter and mockery every now and then, but he himself has become one of the best players in the world and I hope that continues like this.”
Vinicius Jnr has racked up 16 goals and provided 10 goals from 26 appearances across competiitons in the ongoing campaign.
