Pyramids FC forward Ibrahim Adel remains a top target in the transfer market, but his next destination is still uncertain.
Al Jazira has increased its bid to $5 million in a renewed push to sign the Egyptian star before the summer window closes.
The Emirati side’s technical director, Moroccan coach Hussein Ammouta, is eager to bring in Adel to strengthen the attack. Adel would link up with former Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny, who recently joined Al Jazira.
But despite the raised offer, Adel has told Pyramids FC he prefers a move to Europe. Sources at Kooora confirm he has received interest from a French club and Swiss outfit Lugano, with the French offer believed to align more with his ambitions.
Pyramids, however, are holding firm on their $6 million valuation. The club sees Adel as a vital part of coach Krunoslav Jurčić’s plans for the upcoming season, and they are unwilling to let him go for less.
With the window ticking down, Adel’s next move may hinge on whether a European club can meet Pyramids’ asking price.
