RS Berkane playmaker Yassine El-Bahri has opened up about his journey to recovery following a cruciate ligament injury.

Speaking to Kooora, El-Bahri said, “What happened is part of life and football. I am confident that everything will go well after the surgery, God willing.”

He explained the surgery was delayed to allow for thorough medical assessments to fully understand the injury.

“France is the ideal place for the operation, while my recovery and rehabilitation will take place here in Morocco under the care of the club’s medical team,” he added.

El-Bahri expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming support from Nahdat Berkane fans, club management, and everyone who reached out during his difficult time.

“Determination and patience will be key to making a strong comeback,” he said.

He also emphasized his commitment to the club’s legacy.

“Nahdat Berkane’s success doesn’t depend on one player alone, but I’m eager to return and contribute, especially in the CAF Champions League.”

The 26-year-old midfielder is scheduled to undergo surgery in France this week and looks forward to completing his rehabilitation to come back stronger on the field.
