England forward of Nigerian descent, Bukayo Saka, has expressed his love for Arsenal, indicating that he is keen on extending his stay at the club.
Saka recently recovered from an injury after spending three months on the sidelines with a hamstring setback.
This season, he has scored six goals and provided 10 assists after making 26 appearances in the English Premier League.
According to several reports, Arsenal are in the process of contract negotiations with the forward, hoping to tie him down to a longer contract.
Speaking ahead of the team’s UEFA Champions League quarter-final first leg encounter against Real Madrid on Tuesday, Saka said he wants to win wearing the Arsenal jersey for many years to come.
“I want to win wearing this badge. It’s pretty clear the fans know how much I love them.
“You saw them when I returned, I think they love me back so it’s a good relationship. I’m really happy to be here. I’m just focused on winning at Arsenal,” Saka said.
Arsenal will host Real Madrid at Emirates Stadium on Tuesday, April 8, for the first leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-final tie.
