‘I want to get better at Bayern Munich’ – Jonathan Tah

German defender of Ivorian descent, Jonathan Tah, has opened up on the motivation behind his move to Bayern Munich.

According to him, he signed for the Bundesliga Champions because of his ambition to win more trophies and become a better defender.

“I wanted to move and in the end I decided on FC Bayern because I feel that I can take another step here. I am very ambitious, I always want to get better,” Jonathan Tah told SPORT BILD.

He continued, “I can get even more out of myself at FC Bayern. That’s why I’m in Munich.”

Jonathan Tah, 29, sealed his much-anticipated move to Bayern Munich from Bayer Leverkusen on May 29.

He joined the club with high expectations, having established himself as one of the top defenders in Germany in the past few years.

Bayern Munich are hoping he will use his experience and quality to help the team in the coming years.
