‘I never had an offer from Bayern Munich’ – Guinea forward Serhou Guirassy clears air

Guinea international Serhou Guirassy says he never received an offer from Bayern Munich as purported to be in the media.

Serhou Guirassy emerged as a top transfer target in the summer for several clubs including Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund due to his swashbuckling performance for Stuttgart.

However, the highly-rated attacker ended up joining Dortmund for a fee reported to be around 18 million euros.

The 28-yeat-old in interview cleared the air, saying he never received an offer from Bayern Munich.

“I personally didn’t get a call, but I also heard that there was interest,” said Guirassy in relation to the rumors about FC Bayern in an interview with “Sport Bild” (here and further – quoted by weltfussball.de).

“I never had an offer from Bayern Munich, so this question doesn’t even arise. It was clear to me early on that I wanted to play for BVB.”

Serhou Guirassy was on target for Dortmund when they succumbed to a 3-2 defeat to Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League on Thursday.
