Lyon winger Rayan Cherki has hinted at a possible future alongside some of Paris Saint-Germain’s biggest stars, amid growing interest from Premier League clubs.
The 21-year-old, known for his explosive attacking style, has been linked with a summer move as Lyon prepare for a potential squad overhaul.
Cherki, who has Algerian heritage, has emerged as one of Europe’s most promising young talents this season.
The Frenchman has registered 12 goals and 19 assists in 43 appearances across all competitions, attracting attention from clubs like Liverpool, Manchester City, and Tottenham.
Lyon are reportedly willing to listen to offers in the region of £20 million as they grapple with financial challenges.
At the recent Ligue 1 Team of the Season ceremony, Cherki dropped a hint about his preferred future destination when asked if he would like to play alongside some of PSG’s stars who were also present at the event.
“Yes, absolutely,” he said. “I know them all. Ousmane (Dembele) and Bradley (Barcola) are good friends of mine. When you have good chemistry on the pitch, it shows off the pitch too.”
When pressed further on whether his response hinted at a potential move to PSG, Cherki simply smiled and said, “I don’t know.”
While the French giants would undoubtedly welcome a young, dynamic player like Cherki, his future remains uncertain, with several top European clubs monitoring his situation closely.
