Cameroonian forward Bryan Mbeumo is confident he will succeed at his new club, Manchester United.
Speaking in his first interview, the attacker said he believes he has the spirit and the character to reach new heights at the club.
“My mentality is to always be better than I was yesterday. I know that I have the spirit and character to reach another level here learning from Ruben Amorim and playing alongside world-class players,” Mbeumo said.
The forward continued, “Everybody told me about the environment that is being created here and how exciting the plans are for the future. This is a massive club, with an incredible stadium and amazing fans, we are all really determined to challenge for the biggest trophies.”
Manchester United announced the acquisition of the talented forward on Monday, July 21.
In the official statement, the club said the forward has signed a five-year contract in his move from fellow Premier League side Brentford.
“Manchester United is pleased to confirm that Bryan Mbeumo has joined the club, subject to registration. The Cameroon international has signed a contract until June 2030, with the option to extend for a further year,” the English Club said.
