Wydad Casablanca coach, Rulani Mokwena, has expressed his frustration about the behaviour of the fans of the club.
Wydad were hoping to return to winning ways in the Casablanca Derby, but they were held to a 1-1 draw against Raja at the Stade Mohammed V Stadium.
Speaking to the media after the match, Mokwena said, “I can’t do more than this. We also drew against last season’s Moroccan champions, not just any other team.
“When I bring on a player, the fans wonder how I got him on. When I take him off later, they blame me for my decision. I no longer understand anything!”
“I have decided, and this is a settled matter, that I will continue until the end of the season, to achieve what we had previously planned for, which is to finish second in the league. Everything is still on the field, and we must gain confidence and support.
“I don’t think we are bad enough to bear all this blame and criticism, and I think we have improved in many ways,” he added.
Meanwhile, the South African gaffer is expected to leave the club at the end of the season.
