France-born attacker of Algerian descent, Rayan Cherki has broken his silence on his reported impending departure from Olympique Lyon.
Although the versatile forward insists that he is committed to giving his best for the Ligue 1 club, he has hinted that he may be on his way out.
Speaking ahead of Lyon’s final Ligue 1 match against Angers this weekend, Cherki said he does not know if the game will be his last for the club or not.
“I don’t know if it will be my last game (for Lyon, against SCO Angers on Saturday). I know that I have given everything for my club, that I’ve done everything possible for OL, because it is a club that I will never forget and that will forever be in my heart. I stayed when lots of players left, and I have no regrets. Whatever happens, I will give everything until the last minute at this club,” the Algerian talent said.
Rayan Cherki has been linked with a move away from Olympique Lyon since last summer.
Ahead of the upcoming summer window, Cherki has been linked with a possible move to Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, and Borussia Dortmund.
