Juventus striker Randal Kolo Muani has dismissed speculation linking him with a move to Chelsea, stating he remains focused on the Club World Cup and is happy at the Italian club.
The French forward is currently on loan from Paris Saint-Germain, with the temporary deal now extended through the end of the tournament.
Born in France to Congolese parents, Kolo Muani has established himself as a key figure in Juventus’ attack and is reportedly a target for a permanent transfer.
Juventus are said to be considering a full deal to secure the 25-year-old, though fresh interest from Chelsea has introduced a twist to the transfer narrative.
Responding to the speculation, Kolo Muani said: “I don’t know anything about Chelsea, I’m just trying to focus on the World Cup. Once the tournament is over, we’ll see. If it were just up to me, I’d stay here. I’m really happy at Juve, I feel very good.”
The forward’s preference to remain in Turin could complicate Chelsea’s plans, especially as the Blues continue to explore forward options this summer.
Juventus, meanwhile, are expected to push for a permanent agreement with PSG once the Club World Cup concludes.
Kolo Muani also took time to praise teammate Kenan Yildiz, calling him “pure magic” and tipping the young Turkish international for future success.
“He’s really in another category,” he said. “He has the qualities for the most prestigious clubs in the world. I hope he wins trophies with this club and individually.”
Kolo Muani’s strong performances and growing chemistry with Juve’s attacking talents appear to have strengthened his desire to stay, potentially leaving Chelsea with yet another transfer hurdle in their ongoing rebuild.
