Hussein El Shahat, a player for Al Ahly, emphasized that he does not dwell on achieving personal records as much as he is occupied with playing for the benefit of his team and achieving positive results.

We faced Ceramica Cleopatra, and after two days, we faced Modern Future. Al Ahly cannot celebrate because every two days, it enters a new championship.”
He added, “Now, perhaps we can celebrate during this break. Al Ahly is required not to miss the opportunity for joy.”
Regarding Anthony Modeste’s goal for Al Ahly, El Shahat said, “I hope the goal scored by Anthony Modeste will help him in the future.”
When asked if Zamalek’s participation in the Super Cup would have made a difference, he responded, “Certainly, Zamalek is a big club with its fans, capabilities, and players, and its presence would have made a difference.
But this is not in our hands.”
