Hull City complete €15.15m capture of Everton midfielder Tim Iroegbunam

England and Nigeria midfielder Tim Iroegbunam has joined Hull City from Everton for €15.15m, becoming the Premier League club’s latest addition on a deal running until June 2031.

The 23-year-old central midfielder made the move on 1 September 2026 after spending the previous two seasons with Everton. Iroegbunam has made one Premier League appearance this season, featuring for two minutes, and also remains eligible to represent both England and Nigeria internationally.

Iroegbunam began his senior career with Aston Villa, joining the club from West Bromwich Albion’s youth system in 2021. He moved to Queens Park Rangers on loan during the 2022-23 campaign before returning to Villa, where he continued his development.

Everton signed him from Aston Villa in July 2024 for €10.7m. His transfer to Hull City represents another significant move in his career and takes him to a club competing in the Premier League.

The Birmingham-born midfielder stands 1.83m tall and is right-footed. He was part of the England Under-19 side that won the European Under-19 Championship in 2022.

Iroegbunam’s arrival gives Hull City a midfielder with experience at Premier League level and international youth honours. The completed deal places him under contract at the club until 30 June 2031.
