English lower division side Hull City are in advanced talks to sign Moroccan youngster Reda Laalaoui.
Sources have revealed that the Championship club is close to agreeing a deal to secure the services of the 20-year-old midfielder.
Reda Laalaoui has been a standout performer for FUS Rabat in the Moroccan top-flight league and is set to make his first move to Europe.
The youngster’s consistent displays in recent seasons have attracted interest from several clubs across Europe, with teams in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Portugal reportedly monitoring his progress over the past year.
Despite the widespread interest, Hull City appear to have won the race for the highly rated midfielder. Talks between the English club and FUS Rabat are said to be at an advanced stage, with a deal expected to be finalised in the coming days.
Hull City are keen on recruiting the midfielder to strengthen their squad for the 2025/26 football season after struggling to compete this season.
