Nader El-Sayed, former Zamalek star, praised the decision to appoint Hossam Hassan as the head coach of the Egyptian national team, succeeding the Portuguese coach Roy Vitoria, who previously led the Pharaohs.
El-Sayed, speaking on the Zamalek program with Mohamed Abu El-Ela on Zamalek TV channel, expressed that having Hossam Hassan at the helm of the Egyptian national team brings back memories of the late Mahmoud El-Gohary and will revive his legacy.
He added that the selection of the coaching staff is optimal at the present time and lacks any imbalances, emphasizing that all the names possess the ability to benefit the Egyptian national team in their respective roles.
El-Sayed concluded his remarks by saying, “I have confidence in the ability of the coaching staff of the Egyptian national team to achieve the aspirations of the Egyptian people, affirming everyone’s support for them in the coming period.”
