The board of directors of Egypt’s Al Ahly Club has appointed Hossam Ghaly, a member of the board, as the head of the team’s delegation traveling to Tanzania next week to face Simba on Friday, March 29th, in the first leg of the quarter-finals of the African Champions League football.
According to the official website of Al Ahly Club, Ghaly is coordinating and arranging all matters related to the delegation’s travel, accommodation hotel, training facilities, and ensuring the best possible atmosphere for the coaching staff and players, in collaboration with Khaled Bebo, the football director.
The draw resulted in Al Ahly facing Simba in the first leg on March 29th in the Tanzanian capital, with the return leg scheduled for April 5th in Cairo.
Al Ahly qualified for the quarter-finals by topping Group 4 with 12 points, while Simba finished as runners-up in Group 2 with nine points.
