Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah has expressed admiration for Liverpool’s manager, Arne Slot, hailing his tactical acumen and attention to detail.
Initially sceptical about Slot’s capabilities, Salah admitted that the Dutchman exceeded his expectations.
In an interview with TNT Sports, Salah shared his thoughts on working with Slot.
“Before I worked with Arne Slot, I didn’t expect he was this good… then we started working and I’m not surprised at all! He’s great with details, great with small things, doesn’t have ego when he makes a mistake… he’s great on tactics,” Salah said.
The Liverpool talisman also revealed his strong desire to reclaim the English Premier League title this season, prioritising it over the Champions League.
“I want to win the Premier League title MORE than the Champions League this year. I really want it; as a team, we want it,” Salah stated emphatically.
Under Arne Slot’s leadership, Liverpool has shown renewed vigour, with Salah remaining a key figure in the team’s quest for domestic and European glory.
