Borussia Dortmund midfielder, Pascal Groß, has heaped praise on Austrian midfielder of Nigerian descent, Carney Chukwuemeka, describing him as a top player.
Carney Chukwuemeka signed for Dortmund on loan for the rest of the season in a move from English Premier League side Chelsea.
Having trained with Carney Chukwuemeka at Dortmund for three months, Pascal Groß has been impressed.
Speaking on the on-loan midfielder, Pascal Groß said the Austrian-Nigerian is a top player and has already shown what he is capable of doing.
“He’s a top player. In his few minutes of play, he’s shown what he can do,” Pascal Groß said.
Carney Chukwuemeka, despite making an impression at Dortmund has not been able to fully show himself.
Injury setbacks have meant that he has missed so many matches for the German Bundesliga club
His current loan agreement with Dortmund includes a purchase option reportedly worth €35 million.
Information gathered this week indicates that Dortmund are looking at the possibility of extending the loan deal for the Chelsea midfielder.
