FIFA has imposed a six-month suspension on Moroccan player Hamza Abourazzouk for doping. The player was found to have used “carboxy-THC, a substance which appears on the World Anti-Doping Agency’s 2013 Prohibited List in class S8 (cannabinoids).” The suspension takes effect from August 28 and follows testing after a match in the preliminary competition for the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™ played in Marrakech, Morocco, on June 8, 2013.
