Hamed Drame: Montlouis sign French-Malian centre-back on free transfer from Saint-Colomban Locmine

Montlouis have completed the signing of French-Malian defender Hamed Drame from Saint-Colomban Locmine on a free transfer. The 25-year-old centre-back joins the French club after a short spell with Locmine, with the move dated 6 July 2026.

Drame, born in Vitry-sur-Seine and standing at 1.93m, is a right-footed central defender who adds height and experience to the Montlouis back line. He holds both French and Malian nationality and is listed in his main position as a centre-back.

The switch to Montlouis continues a notably nomadic early career for Drame, who has already played in several European countries. Before returning to France with Locmine in February 2026, he had most recently been on the books of CF Estrela Amadora in Portugal, leaving the club in November 2025.

In the 2024-25 season Drame was contracted to Giugliano Calcio 1928 in Italy, including a loan spell at US Angri 1927 before returning to Giugliano at the end of that deal. That Italian stint followed a move from FC Turris 1944, also in Italy, in January 2025, underlining his familiarity with different tactical setups and competitive environments.

Prior to Italy and Portugal, Drame accumulated senior experience in Cyprus with Olympiakos Nicosia and Akritas Chloraka, and in Finland with AC Oulu, having first moved abroad from French youth football via Rubikon Kyiv in Ukraine and then into the Cypriot game. His market value peaked at 200,000 in early 2023 and was later assessed at 50,000 during spells in Cyprus, Italy and as a free agent, before being listed at zero in March 2026 during his time at Saint-Colomban Locmine.

Drames arrival gives Montlouis an experienced, well-travelled central defender as they reshape their squad for the new campaign.
