Hamdallah and Kanté disciplined by Asian football confederation for infractions

The Asian Football Confederation’s Disciplinary and Ethics Committee issued a series of disciplinary measures today, Tuesday.

The committee decided to suspend Al Ittihad’s player, Ngolo Kanté, for two matches, including an automatic suspension for one match, due to his red card against Al Hilal, along with a fine of $1000.

Furthermore, the Moroccan player, Abderrazak Hamdallah, has been suspended for three matches, including an automatic suspension for one match, and fined $1000.

Al Ittihad Club was penalized due to its fans throwing approximately three water bottles and/or plastic cups towards Al Hilal players, resulting in a fine.

Additionally, the Saudi Arabian Football Federation was fined $5000 for violating Article 65.1 of the AFC Disciplinary and Ethical Code, along with another $5000 fine for violating Article 64.1.

The Disciplinary and Ethics Committee also decided to suspend Al Nassr’s player, Emeric Laporte, for three matches, including an automatic suspension for one match, due to his red card against Al Ain in the AFC Champions League, and his teammate Ayman Yahya received the same punishment.

Al Nassr Club was fined $2250 for the misconduct of five individuals representing the team and their violation of Article 53/1.

Moreover, Al Ain Club was fined $3000, in addition to $1850 as a penalty for twelve individuals representing the club, in the matches against Al Nassr, in accordance with Article 53/1.

Lastly, Al Hilal Club was fined $3000 for three individuals representing the team entering the field without accreditation cards in the match against Sepahan in the AFC Champions League.
