Habib Beye poised to take over as Stade Rennais head coach

Habib Beye is set to be appointed as the new head coach of Stade Rennais on a six-month contract, with an option for an additional season.

The former Senegalese international will be entrusted with steering the club through the remainder of the Ligue 1 campaign as they aim for a strong finish.

Beye, who has steadily built his reputation in coaching, is expected to bring fresh tactical ideas and leadership to Rennes.

The 46-year-old enjoyed a distinguished playing career as a right-back, representing clubs such as Strasbourg, Marseille, and Aston Villa before making the transition into management.

His appointment comes at a critical juncture for Rennes, who are eager to regain form and secure a place in European competition.

With his experience and dynamic coaching approach, Beye faces a major opportunity to prove himself at the highest level of French football.
