Guy Roux will be appearing on the show “On n’est pas couché” on France 2 this evening. However, during the recording, he experienced a frightening incident: he accidentally cut his cheek open by approximately 3-4 centimeters when he collided with a desk upon entering the stage.
It appears he missed a step leading to the glass top, which caused the mishap. According to a relative, Roux was briefly incapacitated on the ground before being assisted by two guests, judoka Teddy Riner and Stéphane De Groodt, who came to his aid on set. Additionally, a call was made to summon a doctor.
After being taken to the dressing rooms for treatment, Laurent Ruquier checked on Roux’s condition and reassured the audience upon his return to the stage. Despite the incident, Roux returned to the set approximately ten minutes later, being careful not to miss any further steps.
Although he was not stitched up, Roux reportedly held a cloth on his cheek throughout the broadcast to stem the bleeding. He remained until the end of the show, receiving assistance off-camera as needed, including advice from Teddy Riner.
It’s worth noting that the incident will likely not be broadcast during the show’s airing tonight.
