En Avant Guingamp, the Breton club, has no intention of selling its striker Mustapha Yatabaré during the summer transfer window. Despite interest from clubs like AS Saint-Étienne and Club Africain de Tunis, the Malian international is not expected to leave Brittany this season. Following the departure of Giannelli Imbula to Olympique de Marseille, Guingamp’s coach, Jocelyn Gourvennec, stated that Yatabaré’s departure is not under consideration. He emphasized that Yatabaré is not a necessity economically, and they cannot replace him on a sporting level. The club is preparing for its return to Ligue 1, and Yatabaré, the top scorer in Ligue 2 with 23 goals, is a crucial element for them. Guingamp faced Olympique de Marseille in their first Ligue 1 match of the season.
