Simba SC have reportedly set a sale price of around US$1 million for Guinean midfielder Naby Camara, as the Tanzanian club looks to manage the futures of several key players.
The 22-year-old midfielder has attracted attention from clubs across Africa and beyond, including Espérance de Tunis, Al Ahly SC, and Atlético Petróleos de Luanda, as well as teams from Saudi Arabia.
Sources close to Simba SC have confirmed that interested clubs are aware of Camara’s release clause.
Espérance de Tunis, currently leading the Tunisian Ligue 1, is said to be monitoring Camara closely.
The club’s management reportedly held discussions after scouting the midfielder on multiple occasions, noting his potential to strengthen their squad.
Al Ahly, third in the Egyptian Premier League, is also reportedly considering Camara as part of its plans to reinforce the team.
Meanwhile, Atlético Petróleos de Luanda is understood to be preparing an offer to secure the Guinean international, aiming to act quickly amid growing interest from other clubs.
Simba SC’s management appears determined to ensure that any sale reflects the player’s value to the team while providing Camara with an opportunity to progress in his career.
Camara has already featured in five matches during the 2025/26 season, accumulating 405 minutes in the African Champions League.
According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is estimated at €350,000.
The midfielder’s performances in continental competitions have highlighted his technical ability, vision, and versatility, making him one of Simba SC’s most promising young talents.
The decision to set a transfer price underscores Simba SC’s ambition to maintain control over player movements while allowing key talents to advance their careers abroad.
Clubs interested in Camara will now need to negotiate with Simba SC to meet the valuation if they wish to secure the midfielder’s services.
With multiple African and international clubs reportedly tracking him, Camara’s next move could be a significant step in his professional development and for Simba SC’s strategic planning for the remainder of the season.
