Mohamed Bayo delivered another decisive performance on Saturday as he scored twice in Gaziantep’s dominant Super Lig meeting with Kayserispor.
The Guinean forward, who has 29 caps and eight goals for his country, took control of the match with a sharp display in front of goal.
He struck his first just before the interval, giving Gaziantep their second of the evening in the 45th minute. He then returned after the break with the same authority.
Bayo increased the lead in the 64th minute after a clever run behind the defence.
Drissa Camara timed his pass perfectly, and Bayo met it with precision before driving his finish past goalkeeper Onurcan Piri.
The striker, currently on loan from Lille, showed confidence and efficiency throughout the encounter.
His brace brought his league tally to four goals in eight Turkish Super Lig appearances. Gaziantep controlled the contest and moved 3–0 ahead with 20 minutes still to play.
The result sent them provisionally to sixth place in the table, only three points from the top three.
Bayo continues to rediscover his rhythm in Türkiye and strengthens his importance in Gaziantep’s attack as the season takes shape.
