OGC Nice’s rising star, Issiaga Camara, could be on the move in January, with Ligue 2 clubs circling for his signature.
The 19-year-old Guinean midfielder, who has impressed during his breakthrough season at Nice, has made seven appearances across all competitions, including three starts in the UEFA Europa League. However, with key players expected to return from injury after the New Year, Camara’s chances of maintaining a regular spot in the first team are likely to diminish.
As a result, a loan move seems imminent, according to Foot Mercato. Ligue 2 sides Pau FC, AC Ajaccio, and Stade Lavallois have shown interest in the talented youngster.
Additionally, there is potential interest from clubs abroad, including La Louvière in Belgium and Lausanne Sport in Switzerland, Nice’s partner club. With European experience now under his belt, Camara is well-positioned for a loan that could provide valuable playing time and further development in the second half of the season.
