Guinea international Serhou Guirassy has set a new record at Borussia Dortmund following his strike on German Bundesliga final day.

Guirassy registered his name on the scoresheet when his outfit walloped Holstein Kiel 3-0 to secure qualification to the UEFA Champions League next season.

The 29-year-old opened the scoring for Dortmund in the third minute after converting perfectly from the spot in the high-stake clash held at the Signal Iduna Park on Saturday afternoon.

His strike was his 21st goal in the recently concluded German Bundesliga campaign, propelling him to a new milestone at the club. Guirassy now becomes the first player to score 21 goals for Dortmund in the Bundesliga during his first season.

He finished the campaign as the second top scorer, behind England international Harry Kane, the Bayern Munich striker, who scored 26 goals.

Meanwhile, Guirassy scored 34 goals across competitions and provided 9 assists in 45 appearances.

The 29-year-ol attacker joined Dortmund from Stuttgart in the summer of 2024.
