At the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, Guinea’s national team showcased a dominant performance, defeating Bermuda 5-1 on Monday.
Guinea’s goals came from Mamadou Kane, Julis Keita, and Candit Diawara, while Morlai Seila scored twice.
Dante Leverock managed to secure the lone goal for Bermuda.
Meanwhile, Cape Verde narrowly clinched a 1-0 victory against Equatorial Guinea in another friendly match at the Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Sports City Stadium, also in Jeddah, earlier on Monday.
The crucial goal for Cape Verde was netted by Giovanni Cabral, a forward playing for Salernitana in the Italian league, in the 64th minute of the game.
This win marks Cape Verde’s second consecutive friendly victory, following their recent 1-0 win against Guinea-Bissau.
Equatorial Guinea, on the other hand, secured a 2-0 victory over Cambodia in their preceding friendly encounter.
