Henri Camara, the former Senegalese footballer, has extended his contract with the Greek club Panetolikos for one season. The 34-year-old striker was instrumental in the team’s promotion to the Elite championship, contributing 15 goals in the previous season. Camara, who has 99 caps and 26 goals for the Senegal national team, was a key figure in the historic 2002 World Cup run when Senegal reached the quarter-finals. He paid tribute to the late coach Bruno Metsu and urged his compatriots to do the same.
