West Ham United manager Graham Potter has called on Ghanaian forward Mohammed Kudus to adapt more to his system as the team battles a challenging season.
Kudus has struggled to make a consistent impact this season, often being substituted before the 70th minute in most games under Potter’s leadership.
Speaking ahead of their Premier League clash against Aston Villa, Potter acknowledged Kudus’ versatility and potential but emphasized the need for adjustment.
“Mo has had to adapt a bit. He’s taken on every challenge in a good way, and I think he’s someone who can play in lots of positions in the front three. If we can get the balance right, we’ve got a top, top player,” Potter said.
Despite the team’s struggles, Kudus has scored three Premier League goals and provided one assist this season.
West Ham’s overall performance, however, has been underwhelming, leaving the club in a precarious position on the league table.
As West Ham prepare to face Aston Villa, Kudus will hope that the game will be the beginning of a good run for him.
