FIFA President Gianni Infantino has conveyed his congratulatory message, expressing gratitude to the North African nation for its commitment to organizing the prestigious event.
Infantino, in a statement, commended Morocco, saying, “For five years (2025-2029), the host country for the World Cup will be Morocco.
So, congratulations to Morocco! Mabrouk! Alf Mabrouk! Thank you to the Kingdom of Morocco and the Federation for organizing this magnificent World Cup which will bring together the 24 best U17 women’s national teams in the world. Thanks again! Dima Maghrib!”
The decision to award Morocco the hosting rights for the upcoming tournaments underscores FIFA’s confidence in the country’s capability to organize and stage world-class football events.

The U17 Women’s World Cup has a rich history, with previous editions held in various countries, including New Zealand (2008), Trinidad and Tobago (2010), Azerbaijan (2012), Costa Rica (2014), Jordan (2016), Uruguay (2018), and India (2022).

While Morocco participated in the last edition, Infantino highlighted the significance of African representation in the tournament, noting that Ghana and Nigeria, with six participations each, are among the African teams with the most appearances in the competition.
