Ghana striker Prince Adjei Asamoah starts new chapter with Al-Jalil Qana

Ghanaian centre-forward Prince Adjei Asamoah has joined Al-Jalil Qana after leaving his previous club, Bofoakwa II, and spending the intervening period without a club.

The 22-year-old striker completed the move to the Lebanese side on 6 September 2026. No transfer fee has been disclosed, and the length of his contract has not been announced.

Asamoah gives Al-Jalil Qana a right-footed forward who can lead the attack. He is 1.82m tall and was born in Ghana on 20 November 2003.

His most recent recorded competitive involvement came in the Premier League, where he made five appearances and played 146 minutes. He did not record a goal or assist in those matches.

Asamoah previously represented Bofoakwa II before leaving the club on 1 July 2024. He then remained unattached until his move to Al-Jalil Qana, making the Lebanese club his first destination since that period outside football employment.

The striker’s arrival adds a new option to Al-Jalil Qana’s attacking group as the club brings in a player whose primary position is centre-forward. His profile is based around playing centrally, with his preferred right foot offering a clear detail about how he operates in the final third.

Asamoah’s move also marks a return to club football after more than two years without a listed team. His previous spell at Bofoakwa II came before his latest Premier League appearances, while his new opportunity provides a fresh setting in Lebanon.

The transfer was completed on 6 September 2026.
