Ghana international Thomas Partey has expressed his joy following Arsenal’s narrow win over Wolves in the English Premier League.

The Black Stars midfielder started and lasted the entire duration of the match as the Gunners secured a narrow win over their opponent at the Molineux Stadium on Saturday.

Partey delivered an impressive performance as Arsenal edged out Wolves to merit the three maximum points at stake. He excelled in his preferred midfield role, having previously been deployed in defensive duties.

“Massive win to keep us going” he wrote on Instagram while celebrating his outfit important away win.

Arsenal went down to 10-men after Myles Lewis-Skelly received the marching orders before halftime. Despite being reduced, the Gunners showed resilience and determination to snatch victory.

In the 70th minute mark, Joao Gomes received his second booking, leaving Wolves with 10 men as well.

However, Arsenal capitalized on that, scoring the winning goal through Ricardo Calafiori in the 74th minute.

The hard-fought win maintains Arsenal’s second-place position in the league table with 47 points from 23 games, trailing behind Liverpool who have 53 points with an outstanding game.

The 31-year-old has made 22 appearances in the Premier League this season, scoring two goals and delivering two assists.

In all competitions, the former Atletico Madrid star has racked up 33 matches, contributing four goals across the period.
