Ghana forward Antoine Semenyo set for winter Bournemouth departure amid growing interest

Ghana international Antoine Semenyo could depart Premier League outfit AFC Bournemouth as the winter transfer window approaches.

Semenyo, who joined the Cherries in January 2023 has been outstanding in the current campaign, racking up six goals and providing three assists in 12 Premier League matches this season.

His impressive performances have caught the attention of several top clubs in Europe including, Liverpool, Manchester United, and Tottenham.

Currently, the Black Stars attacker has a £65 million release clause in his contract at Bournemouth, which is set to be active in January, making him an attractive prospect for top clubs.

The Premier League outfit are aware of the huge interest in the Ghana international attacker and are said to be preparing for his potential departure.

Semenyo’s release clause is only valid until a specific date in January, after which the price will drop significantly.

Howevere, Liverpool and other interested clubs will have to act swiftly in their quest to secure the signature of the attacker in the upcoming window.

Semenyo was a huge transfer target for European clubs in the summer, but the Ghanaian forward opted to extend his contract until 2030.
