Ghana attacker Isaac Atanga eager to shine in Sweden after joining Kalmar FF
Ghana forward Isaac Atanga is ready to make his mark at Kalmar FF following his move to the Swedish club.
The highly-rated winger completed his transfer last week after leaving Norwegian side Aalesund. Kalmar FF confirmed the signing, announcing that Atanga has penned a two-year contract.
“Kalmar FF has agreed with Aalesund on a transfer for striker Isaac Atanga, who has today signed a two-year contract with the club. The last two seasons he has represented Norwegian Aalesund, and during the autumn he was loaned to Finnish Ilves in the Veikkausliiga. We warmly welcome Isaac to Kalmar FF,” the club stated.
In his first interview, Isaac Atanga expressed his determination to contribute to Kalmar FF’s quest for promotion to the Swedish top flight.
“It feels really good to come to Kalmar FF. The ambitions and goals of the club attracted me to come here. After talking to the sports director and the coach, it felt like a very exciting venture and a game idea that suits my way of playing football. I hope we can do good things together, and I will do my best to help the team get back to Allsvenskan,” Atanga said, as quoted on the club’s website.
With his talent and work ethic, the Ghana forward is expected to be a key figure for Kalmar FF as they push for a return to Sweden’s top tier.
